i dont have the plate number yet. but here is another weird thing. The towing truck has the car lifted from the back, so its front wheels are on the ground. However, its front wheel is totally flat, so he is towing it on the rim.

Well he just took off, and the cops didn't think it was important enough to swing by. So I guess it will be a mystery from here on out. The name of the towing company was WAP Towing, but when I googled the phone number it said WAP Recovery (maybe this was some kind of repo?).

I am assuming they are towing the thing to Sacramento (about 1.5 hours away) which also doesn't make any sense.

hmmm... yeah its a strange situation... hope its nothing shady because our cars have LOJACK and the owner would have reported as quickly as possible
