Stolen 2006 Black is350 Bay Area
Anyone here loose a black is350 here in the bay area? I think it is parked right in front of my house. I am about to call the cops and have this thing towed away. There is some damage to both rear fenders, rear bumper, front bumper, and one of the tires is flat. Also, the punks were smoking in your car and it stinks. They also keyed the hood. Sorry for the bad news. Send me a PM and I can give you the address if you want. I will probably want to verify the VIN number before giving you the address.

Yes it is. Stolen cars show up all the time in my neighborhood. I live in a pretty nice community that for some reason attracts them. Probably 3-4 a year. I am the one that always calls the cops and has them towed away.

I took down the vin and looked it up online. It looked older to me, but what do i know.
I doubt I will be a suspect since I am the one that calls them 3-4 times a year reporting stolen cars.

You seem like quite a good person, registering and posting on CL just to find the owner... not gonna lie, seems odd from an outside view. It's like searching for a needle in a haystack to find the owner on here (unless he had stickers or something). Either way, thats pretty crazy it happened!

Ok guys, looks like a neighbor beat me to it. A tow truck just pulled up, and it is being loaded now. This means the owner is probably being contacted right now.

Ok guys. I saw the tow truck, went outside and asked the guy if he was picking up the stolen car. The dude tells me that it isn't stolen, and that the owner lives up the street (yeah right). His tow truck has Sacramento phone numbers and everything is super shady now. No one in my neighborhood has brand new beat up lexus cars and leaves the doors open, with no plates. Just too weird.
So I called the cops and explained the situation. They told me that the car was not showing up registered for quite some time, but not reported stolen.
The cops are supposed to be on their way to check everything out. I am guessing the dudes that stole the car are trying to take it away now. I am just hoping they don't get pissed at me since I went outside and talked to them, they obviously know it is me that called the cops.
