Hi I have the 2008 IS250 with push start button feature. I have a key fob and a metal key in it. How can I open the door or start the engine if suddently the battery running out?

remove the key, and there is a slot under the door handle. put the key in there and prey off the cover and unlock your car. Than to start the car, just put the key fob near the start button and press start.

Or do what I do, buy a pack of batteries for the remote cuz the dash will tell u that the battery is getting low on the fob.

how do u change out the battery ? pry the cover ?

on the fob? remove the key, and use the key to open the fob. and there is the battery

The owners manual explains how to start the car with a dead key, by holding it next to start button.

It actually works, I did it a couple of months ago when my key batteries both went dead (both remotes), while the car was sitting in the garage unlocked for a couple of weeks.
