i was wondering if you debadge your car and later one decided to put it back on can you do it and what type of tape would you need? i've been wanting to do this for a while but afraid that i might mess up on filling the holes and cant put the badge back on.
If you just leave your holes like I did all you would need is double-sided tape (the red/grey stuff - not the white foamy stuff)
No. Water won't enter the trunk because the holes are not drilled into the trunk. They're drilled into the body colored plastic panel that's *attached* to the trunk. No worries.

It's unlikely. The panel is held in place by 3 nuts and 5 clips. The panel itself is pretty well sealed to the trunk lid. Water will get between the panel and the deck lid but that's not a big deal. It gets wet behind there anyway when you wash the car or it rains. Water will not leak into the trunk. [/quote]
Of course, then realize that you'll immediately and obviously be known as someone who has a 250 and wants a 350 hahaha. Unless your'e SO modded out then it's justified.
haha, people try to race me all the time since i'm so modded, but being that I have a 250 I have to just look cool in declining or trick them somehow haha.
I should put a IS250 badge on my 350 and trick people..
There are some places online that make custom and very nice badges with a million different fonts to pick from. I've been thinking of having my last name or something. It's not so expensive either.
