foglight problem
ok so i've had this problem with my foglights for a while and have not been able to find an answer to it.
basically, i changed out the stock foglights and replaced them with nokya 2500k . they lasted for a good 9 months but one side shut off. i bought a new set thinking the bulb blew but when i went under to change out the faulty one, i found there was nothing wrong with it and after jiggling it, the bulb came on again. i figured it was loose so i wrapped it in electrical tape. this fix only lasted for about a week and the bulb went out again. i checked it out again and this time the bulb refused to come out. i was able to get it out of the housing but it seemed like it melted into the socket. anyone know what might be the problem? as far as i can tell the bulb is still fine but im afraid the connectings have melted. i dont want to take it into lexus so are there any DIY? and would switching to an HID set up fix this problem?
