Default AFTERMARKET 18" Wheel Owners.. Got a question?

Do you guys think 18's are to small for our IS? Ive had 20", 19's, and am wanna go to 18's but just dont want that "looks to small" issue. I will be slammed so there wont be any wheel gaps. Let me know what your opinions are.

also, i have gone through the Aftermarket 18" Wheel thread. BUT i know pictures and actually seeing a car is much different.

Nope I had 20's before on other cars & think 18's when you drop your car look great. Personally i would only go to 19's. 20's look to ghetto IMO. I run 18's & think with my drop my car looks great! others may not agree but you asked for opinions.

19's IMO look best and have a decent ride with right tires.

I always thought 18s were too small for our car until yesterday I put my friends 18s on my car. As long as your flush and dropped it looks fine.

If you have proper offsets and a nice drop you'll be set. I'm sure you won't have a problem getting that combo. Morris has 18s and they look great. I didn't think they were small at all.

If you're dropped with no wheel gap, 18's will look great and won't be too small. Lowering makes a huge visual difference. If you run stretch tires with aggressive offsets, it will help also. I'm currently on 18" VSXX after switching from my 19" SSRs.

What's the motivation for spending money on aftermarket 18's, maybe because roads are so bad in the area where the car is driven?..... (just trying to understand)

Some of us didnt start out with 18". Plus, I happen to like the beefy tires racing look, and the crappy roads doesnt help either

Good point about the 18's, in CA we've never seen a ISx50 with wheels smaller than the OEM 18's, but I know they exist.
