Damaged My Fender after Dropping on Coils
#47
I never took a pic of my passenger fender damage cause it hurt me to much to think about it. But got the car back today from the body shop and it looks great!
Suffice to say, my car is now 10mm higher all the way around

It is a lot easier to angle your car by turning your wheels and then angling, the point being that the curb of the driveway (or speedbump or whatever you're trying to get onto/off of) hits your tires first and helps lift the car up so you don't scrape. You have to be going pretty slow to not angle your tires and just angle the car with the tires straight, it would also be an extreme angle and you would end up scraping the other side of the car badly. (But it is doable if you learn after time from driving a dropped car) That's why it's best to stiffen up the suspension and roll your fenders when dropping low so you can still turn and prevent effing up your fenders.

I don't think I have any after fix pics handy. When I first had this damage I took it to a PDR guy and he did a great job. I'd say he brought it back to 95%+ original. However, I did the same damn thing a second time after that fix, and when he tried to fix it a second time the paint chipped and it just doesn't look the same. If I find a fender in a junk yard I might snag it and fix it, otherwise I'll just deal with it. The only aftermarket fenders I'm aware of are Artisan Spirits, but too flashy for my taste.
Moral of the story: ROLL YOUR FENDERS PEOPLE, even if you think your offsets are conservative.

I remembered this happen in the past.. One time I went over the steep road and forgot to make a awkward angle instead of straight.. It was too late, I mess up driver side fender and it look similar as everyone in the pic of damage.. I used wooden bat underneat the driver fender and then roll it minimum work.. It doesnt look bad and nothing can make straight and smooth as stock.. IT happened.. Oh I forgot, now Im running 19x9 22 et front and there was no rubbing.. Im happy because I used roll fender tool and pull front fenders more out..

This just happened to me in the same spot on the same side. It looks almost identical to Brian's damage. I knew I was playing with fire and already had an appointment to get my fenders rolled in a couple days. Hopefully it will get fixed when the fenders are rolled. damn.
