Wow a lot of people telling me to go with the nav! Thanks for everyone's input and answers to my question - I assume I didn't get a ton of answers because it seems that most people went with the nav. The dealer told me last time that if I go with the nav, the car is essentially fully loaded and it's an extra 3-4k. But on the Lexus website it says I can get only Nav without all the other things for 2500 - I will have to ask today. Also, I suppose if I don't go with the HID headlights (875) then nav is only about 1600 more than what I was planning on paying. Or should I get those headlights as well? Any input on them at all?

got the car!
just came back from the dealership an hour ago! I ended up getting the car WITH the navigation system! However, I agreed on essentially getting the car fully loaded with the premium package, because the dealer told me that it's almost impossible to find a car with navigation without this package. Does anyone have any experience with this?
The MSRP for the car was $41,165 and they gave me a $3,000 discount so I'm paying $38,165 - any thoughts on how good of a deal this is? After taxes and everything my monthly payment is 718/mo (5 years, 1.9% APR). Is this about what u guys pay? They are looking for the exact colors I want in a different state and delivering it within the next week!

sounds like a good price. The NAV is great, I initially didnt want it, but in order to get the upgraded headlights, wheels, etc, I had to get the Nav. The NAV also adds backup camera, maintenance reminders, phone book, check weather and stocks, Ipod controls, etc etc.

A fully loaded AWD 250 has an MSRP of $45,270.
Fully loaded is a term dealers love to use even when it's not though.
As to price, depends what other options it really has... but assuming it only comes with nav, premium, and HIDs (which would be missing Mark Levinson, Luxury Package, Park Assist, Pre-collision system, and headlamp washers) then $35,856 is the invoice price... so you're paying $2309 above invoice... which seems pretty high to me....if you have some other optioning not mentioned in your post above it might be a better deal.

try going to truecar.com.... it gives a pretty good estimate on what everyone else around your area is paying. Their costs even try to add up dealer holdback and any other incentives and fees that might be going on. but good luck trying to get as low as the dealer cost.
