So i installed them on my car last night as well. I was satisfied with the color. What I wasn't happy with was that it totally changed the pattern of the light being output from the headlights. Its broken up and creates dead spots in the middle. Is this something normal? I will take pics If it will emulate what I am really seeing.

You should be using a D4S, not a D4R. The 'R' is for reflector lenses and the 2IS has projectors, which use D4S type bulbs.
