what tires are you running? Mine are Hankook Ventus V12... they are pretty boxy on the sides compared to others that are more rounded...

BTW: that rim should be on the passenger side so the direction of the tire is correct.

i ran a 245/35/20 on a 10+35 with no rub and no fender mods. and it should hit your fender liner in the rear, there is a bolt on the back side of the rear wheel, check that spot.

I can now confirm I'm rubbing on that spot where the rear fender meets the rear bumper, I assume this is the bolt you are referring to. Anyone do some grinding/shaving in this area? I'm afraid to go too aggressive due to the bolt, anyone have pics of how much they shaved off in this spot?

I know a guy on Cl that has a GS with 255 on 11" wheels. It can be done. It's his daily driver too. His screen name is Vipdout and thats the name of his website though. Diffent look TOTALLY than what you're going for, but that size tire is on that fat ol' rim!

Well at this point I think I can pull it off with the 275s, just a small rubbing point I need to take care of... just looking to see how other people modified the lip in the rear wheel well where the bumper meets the fender... the interference seems like a small amount, so I think I can just do a bit of grinding and resolve it without going through the hassle of getting new tires (but yeah, the fender modding was certainly more hassle no doubt)
