DIY: IS350 Spark Plug Service

I have my plugs lined up. I need to look at that pia bolt everybody's cursing on...patience and research, it will lessen the pain. I can not wait to do the plugs on the 350.
I did my 1st oil change and it was a breeze (btw mine has no bottom plug, it is one piece and I used the old filter cap I had used for my 1995 Camry, fits perfect). Detailed the wheels, now that was a chore! Detailed means cleaning inside the rims, too. Plus touch up paint on the rims. Those are heavy rear wheels!
And lastly replace all missing clips on the engine bay, courtesy of lazy service techs, not putting the clips back on, hate that.
Back to the plugs...I use anti-seize and I will use a torque wrench on this one. Previous I use the NGK method of 1/3 to 2/3 turn to seat the crush washer portion of the plug. but I will now use the torque wrench, just lazy to adjust it to 18 ft-lbs, it is set permanent to 76 ft-lbs for the rim lug nuts, LOL!

Just did the spark plug maintenance. It took me 45min to change out the passenger side and 4hr to change out the driver side because there is like no room to work with.
All I gotta say is that the driver side most front spark plug is a real pain in the butt. I spent 3hrs to use a ratchet 10mm wrench but there was literally no room to swing it loose. I ended up using a 1/4in 10mm socket and forced it at a angle to loosen.

So does it make sense to actually loosen up the manifold to gain access? I am just going by memory, that’s what I understood from a member...

I have the exact same thing. Craftsman 10mm ratcheting wrench. I tried using that first but it was torqued way too tight. I couldn't get the leverage or the room to swing it loose.
I really need to invest in these angled sockets..

I just finished changing the plugs on my 07 GS450h. Took me about 2 hours or so. Passenger side was super easy but, I almost gave up like twice on the driver's side. I used a gear/ratcheting 10mm wrench for the driver side bolt farthest from the firewall and eventually got it off. It took me a while because I felt the wire harness was too in the way so, I loosened as many bolts and wires as I could and eventually there was enough room. Thinking back on it, it actually wasn't too hard, I just felt like giving up because I thought there was no way the coils could come out. I could probably do it in about an hour if I had to redo it again.
