I talked to Fresno Lexus and I was able to get him to go down $2015 for the 100k/7 years after I told him I got two other quotes that were around $1700. I wanted to give them my local business but if they can't match anywhere near it then I'm not going to compromise. I am going to give Fresno another chance and call the Toyota dealership and see if they can sell me a Lexus Premium warranty for around $1700. I'm in no hurry since I am still cover under factory and powertrain warranty.
Went through same thing with my dealer... tried to give them the business as they gave me a great deal on the car... told them what I could get it for from both Toby Rivers and Troy Dietrich. They initially wanted $1000 more than those guys.... then they insisted their own cost was $500 more than either quote and they couldn't sell it to me for less than $100 over their own cost, so $600 more than the other quotes but they'd give it to me for that. I asked why in the world I'd pay them $600 more for the exact same thing and they had no answer for that, nor did they budge any further on price so I said thanks but no thanks and hung up.
