Ok my local stealership is trying to gouge me for a 4 year/100k extended warranty at $3k. I have a 2007 IS250 with 37k I bought it brand new in September of 2006, so im about to come up on 4 years/50k factory warranty.

Can anyone send me some info from other lexus dealerships that offer the warranty for cheaper...Im assuming no matter where you get the warranty from its valid no matter what state you live in...

ok talked to troy dietrich today from toyota of greenfield , 4 100k extended warranty $1750

i just got my IS last week... it is a 2008 with 32k miles..... i paid $2499 for the MPP Premier service plan...100,000mi bumper to bumper, including wear and tear. i suppose i got an ok deal on it. i have 30 days to change my mind and get my money back.

do these warranties cover you fully even with all the mods done on your car? i've had bad experiences with the stealership before about mods

Per federal law a vehicle warranty is not required to cover any problems caused by aftermarket parts. (nor should it).

So if you have an electronics problem after you install aftermarket HIDs and a complex aftermarket stereo you might be SOL if they can show it's related.

But if you put on coilovers and your engine dies you're fine since one couldn't have caused the other.

im not sure all i know is its the Platinum Warranty no dedectable 8 years/100k, not the gold, its the best one..and of course we all know the first 4 years are covered through lexus...

I talked to Fresno Lexus and I was able to get him to go down $2015 for the 100k/7 years after I told him I got two other quotes that were around $1700. I wanted to give them my local business but if they can't match anywhere near it then I'm not going to compromise. I am going to give Fresno another chance and call the Toyota dealership and see if they can sell me a Lexus Premium warranty for around $1700. I'm in no hurry since I am still cover under factory and powertrain warranty.

I highly recommend Troy Getrik, this guy is awesome and no one can match his prices. My dealer ship wanted $3,700 7 years i total from purchase date or 100k miles. Got it for $1,750 for Troy Getrik. I legite i have check with lexus and even got a little booklet that says everything that it cover's. I also think its refundable if you don't use it but i would have to confirm that with Troy. If you guys are gonna call him please see if it's refunadable if not used because i remmember some one mentioned it.
