does anyone know the size of the rear license plate bulbs? I want to switch them to 6k v-led to match the rest of my lights. I know, it's nuts.

This site doesn't list it.

You can't change the LED bulbs because it is intergrated as part of an assembly - the assembly would need to be replaced.

chi123 did manage to change the LEDs but believe it is not easy to do because it was not designed to be replaced.

I looked up Sylvania's guide and it did say 168. I got excited to make it whiter and brighter so I went ahead and took apart the trunk only to find out there is no bulb inside. But I did install new LEDs in the end.

Sorry, i'm such a noob. For the Puddle Light, which JLC LED bulbs should i get since the V-LEDS needs dremeling to fit? From what Sango stated, the 5-SMD, I was unable to locate them on their website.

-JLC LEDs fits right in, correct?

Here are some pictures of the High power Putco T10 / 194 led bulb:

This bulb uses a high quality Nichia LED diode that is rated at approx 90 lumens.

I was advised that they do fit, but with the continuous use they can get run too hot and risk premature burnout.

After reading the comparisions, I thought I would go with a decent 360 degree SMD LED bulb. Giving these a whirl for $5.98 shipped:
