Wink How do you remove the GFX tips?

Long time owner(wifes) and I havent posted in awhile. Ive been doing a spring paint correction and I wanna switch out the old tips with a new set. Then I can polish up the old ones to do the same on the next detail. I can see the metal clip thats holding it on and the ridges. But how does it come off? Is there a trick? I did a search and found a link to sewell parts pdf...but it must be old and went to their IS parts section. Anyone help real quick? Thanks in advance

I'm thinkin they should be similar to the standard tips... as far as installing em... and the dealer told me they have to be cut off... they dented one of mines and had to get me a new one.

to remove then its more like twist and pull. no need to cut them off.

just like the above diagram, your going to need to twist and then pull. however, they are most likely going to be stuck on there so some dw40 would make it easier

Use some wd-40. It saves you a lot of muscle
