That's an alignment issue.

What do you think alignments check?

He's on stock suspension. Camber should still be within a respectable range and that's not even an issue until you've hit -2.5 degrees or go. It's definitely related to toe wear.

Common problem for the 2IS especially if you are lowered. My inner side wall is bald at 15k but that is the price I pay for being slammed on coilovers. Should just check your tires more often make sure that the metal isn't showing.

23k is about how long the front tires last.

Stock suspension and factory alignment wears out the insides of the front tires like this. Also see this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/4655104-post38.html

Everyone, please watch the wear on the insides of the fronts to make sure you don't have a blowout or accident! Expected life is 15,000-25,000 miles.

That's now a normal characteristic of ANY front tire installed at the front due to the suspension geometry of the IS. Mine were gone around 22k miles and I was at stock ride height..you just have to come to accept it..wouldn't exactly call it a design flaw but either way it's not exactly"normal." Just deal with it..

that is toe wear, from the factory the 2IS's toe is set really agressive. even with being as low as i am, my camber wear is not as bad as the toe wear from when i got the car. when you get new tires, have the alignment done by a good alignment shop.

Tire feathering issues, just like the later year of 350Z's.

Get the Firestone Lifetime Wheel Alignment its 169.00 (No tax) one time fee and you get all the alignment for the life of the vehicle. I have it on my IS and ODY, I probably go 3 to 4 times a year.

mine did the same after 18k miles, stock height and within spec. Those turanzas sucks *****. Get the Bridgestone 760's. Treadwear is 340 I believe compared to 140 with those sorry a** tires.

That's what my fronts looked like 3 months after i put on H&R springs at around 15k miles without an alignment.... Get new tires and definitely an alignment. I then got Goodyear Eagle F1's which were good and now i have Nitto Invo's which are pretty good as well.
