Default XM Satellite Radio

Is anyone else having issues with the XM radio fading in and out when you change the station? It doesn't happen all the time, but its pretty annoying. I have to turn the car off then back on to reset this. Thanks for your help.

no but i find that it doesn't always change the text displayed when playing a song. the only way i can fix this is by switching back and forth between stations to update the text.

Yes.....if you do a search you'll see a couple of threads regarding this. But, AFAIK, there's been no resolution.

Here's one link that I started and then realized there were other threads already (there's links in my thread):

Hey I've been having the same issue too.... I'll be driving and then it just cuts out, I would have to restart the car to get it back!

This is a long known problem with no known solution except to turn off the car and restart it. Only happened to me twice....annoying.

This is exactly what I came here to find.... Mine is getting FAR worse over time. I drive a lot and do a couple long drives each week and it's almost a daily occurrence now. I think I'm going to swap the XM module just to see if I can get it back to how it was where it only did it once in a while..not every day.

Mine cuts out every now and then as well. The audio goes, but the text still updates when I change channels. It's pretty annoying.

This just started happening to me as well. My warranty ends Dec 10. UGH! I am starting to get REALLLLLLLLY sick of this car. Touch screen went out, then my nav stopped working after they replaced it, now this.... Why do I think they are interconnected???
