Guess what the quickest bone stock quarter mile times for the IS350 are? 13.2xx to 13.5xx

I fail to see how a 13.2xx to 13.5xx car (335i), stock, has the capability of embarrassing a 13.2xx to 13.5xx car (IS350).
Keep in mind the 335i can get those numbers effortlessly while the IS350 needs a lot of effort, tricks, and tries to get under 13.5 bone stock.

It's...quite the opposite, actually? The IS350 only comes with an automatic transmission. The only trick you need is the ability to stomp on the gas pedal.

Oh, and you need the ability to press and hold traction off for 5 seconds on '07+ models, OR do the pedal dance on 2006 models to turn traction control off.

In STOCK form the IS and 335 are pretty much a wash, but the 335 can easily make big power. The only problem is the 3.0 TT engine is a POS. Lets see how the redesigned 2011 engine turns out.

Default STOCK vs. STOCK

^ Yes sir

STOCK vs. STOCK

From a dig, there are far too many youtube.com video's of the IS350 winning. Probably because of the disgusting 1st gear we have, where we jump out from the start and never look back.

From a roll, even a slow roll that drops down to 2nd gear, the IS is just about right there, maybe a 1/2 car length behind... and thats up to 100mph plus. Who drives 100mph plus frequently? Really... ?

STOCK vs. STOCK

The IS will win from a dig. Plus +
The IS is a much better looking car outside and in. Plus +
The IS is a much more reliable car. Plus +
vs.
The IS will loose by a 1/2 car length (6-7 feet) from a roll during illegal street racing which will cost you your license. Negative -

Who really wins... I mean really?

Superior "German sport handeling" ? My commute is straighter than an arrow. And so are 95% of the roads I drive on during a daily basis.

Ill say get the 335i!
Because of the mod potential.
But stock vs stock, i have beat "A" 335i from a dig,
he beat me as well, ill say drivers race.
But i think from a roll they might be a little bit quicker.

However even in the races where i won you can notice the 335i pulling and getting closer and closer to me

both Great cars though none the less.

Reliability = IS350

I think many IS350 owners really do not know how to launch the car properly for maximum acceleration. Many owners think Sport mode should be on... which as been proven false... These are not tricks... lol

lol honestly who cares... its not the speed that should make you want to buy a car. get an IS already.... lol

comeon... you can already spin out your tires when you full throttle the pedal.... thats already enough power isn't it?

306hp everyday is perfect

do I need a modded 335i with JBU stage 3 stuff? i'll pass
do I need a IS-F ONLY for the hp? I'll pass

i will take my 350 everyday over a tuned 335i. if i wanted a powerful car im not gunna be driving a luxury car. i would have gotten an 06 gto like originally planned and had it supercharged, full exhaust, with a wet shot on it. but they arent the most eye appealing. when do i need all that power? never. and my IS is way more comfortable

The 3.0 TT has serious fuel pump issues that can not be fixed. That is why it has been redesigned. I feel bad for anyone who has the current model and especially anyone who buys a used one.
