I've seen plenty of cars with the center hood painted or wrapped in black or what so ever all the time. I was curious to what it would look like if I did the opposite, so today my friends finished the car, wrapping the grill to a different gloss matte along with the two sides next to the grill and the sides of the hood that is curved down. Overall I think it came out pretty nice, it is very subtle and not too flashy...you can notice the difference between the paint and the vinyl especially in the sun. Almost like a shadow
I like that! Pretty nice idea. I wouldn't be surprised if people started doing that. It'd be something new if the whole car was matte except with that part of the hood, the rood, and the trunk lid staying glossy. Nice job!
it looks really good! also, i think aerotect has something similar with its frostbite film, giving that nice shadow effect that colleen mentioned earlier.
