Seems that all Lexus webpage changes are still not prepared for all changes, for example news is audio with 8 speakers, where on Lexus page is listed as not available(for is350, didn't checked for is250)
is it me or does the drl led does not look as bright as the audis, porsches, or benz led drl?
I noticed that as well, and I think it has to do w/that perhaps theses LED's might be off-white instead of super white - which if true it would be a disappointment. Perhaps the lens being tinted might be a factor as well. IMO, white LED's [in any auto application at least] only seem to work as super white.

Those documents are for a number of markets beyond the U.S. and Canada (South Korea, for one), and, while the 13-speaker audio remains standard for 2011 in North America, most if not all other markets have had an 8-speaker audio standard since the 2nd-gen IS's debut in 2005.
In other words, the North America standard 13-speaker audio is an intermediate upgrade (between the base 8-speaker and the top-of-the-line Mark Levinson) in other parts of the world.

I can't be 100% certain, but I think I saw a 2011 black IS already in San Gabriel. It looked like a loaner car from some dealer (the big writing on the back window that says "Courtesy car" or something, I didn't quite see the rear window), but the LEDs were just like Audi's as far as brightness and white-ness goes. I'm pretty sure it was the 2011....unless it was a loaner car with 17s and no tint that they just decided to throw LEDs on...which I doubt
After looking at the front bumper some more... it kind of remind me of the Chevron car, but with Asian eyes. It looks like it's smiling with the lower teeth showing.
It looks good and if I were shopping for a new IS and had the money id buy it. But honestly im happy with my 07 and the minimal mods ive done and am going to do. In the end it will look just as good if not better then the 11.
