Yes and No. What Flipside909 posted above was the IS F color palette, which is the same as that of the IS V6 F-Sport, except for varying shades of silver: Mercury Metallic for the V8 IS F and Tungsten Pearl for the V6 IS F-Sport.

They said I had to special order one to get GFM, approx 4 month wait with a $2,500 non-refundable deposit. ...I told them I'd think about.

the next day, they called me up and offered me a REALLY good deal on the starfire pearl... I love GFM and all but I couldn't pass up on that deal lol.
Hmmm wondering if my husband would let me do a special order Thanks for the info!

i saw the color combo guide that my dealership sent me, and the only available colors for the F-Sport package are the six that flipside909 mentioned (with Tungsten Pearl instead of Mercury Metallic as mentioned a couple posts ago). I don't think you could get it in GFM even if you order one since it's not on the availability list. The only way is if Lexus has a program like the Audi Exclusive Program which lets a customer choose non-standard color for extra costs, but i don't believe Lexus has this in the US.

if i have to guess what Fsport350's dealership was thinking, they did a search for existing car and couldn't find one in GFM and then assumed the customer would have to order one, when in fact the color is not offered on the F-Sport package.

You are probably right. It sure would be nice if Lexus offered some flexibility in ordering....

I suspect that it's similar to how the X package was... the factory only makes them in a specific group of colors, and that's it, regardless of if it's a special order or normal allocation.

It's one of several reasons I ended up special ordering a sport package car rather than an x package car.

Fair enough. I'd forgotten to post this here on CL. IS F-wannabe arrived on the last day of the December to Remember deals and, by the time the F-Sport lowering springs arrived and were installed, I drove off in the car on January 5th, or the eve of Epiphany, which is when the Three Wise Men (or Three Kings) deliver the gifts, Santa Claus-style, in the Hispanic world. Thus, the bow is quite apropos:

That is with the F-Sport lowering springs, albeit after they'd just installed them and they hadn't "settled" yet.

You're right, the tire/fender gap looks bigger than it does now, after 2 weeks or so. I'll take some new pics (plus interior pics that they wanted to see over on my.IS) as soon as I can...

^ And the front bumper, and the interior, and a few other things I'm probably forgetting.
