I've considered putting some on simply for the bugs though, especially at night!!! I live in the Dallas area but kind of in a newly developing area and every EVERY time I drive after dark I have a bumper covered in bug splats and grasshoppers stuck in my grill. I wish I had a force-field.

Yeah I probably have the highest mileage quasi show car of it's age. '07, 123k
I've thought of this. Is this to avoid chips? if so I'll probably not use it because I try to maintain good distance usually and I'll probably drive it at night when it's less traffic.
