Sometimes when you see your own car all day long, nothing looks special but when you get to compare two different cars side-by-side, all the details start popping out!
What started out as a test fitment turned into a mini photoshoot.
We've seen the custom diffuser on many CL IS-F member rides but I wanted to see how well it would fit on a 2010 IS350 and as you can see, it really gives the car an aggressive but subtle look. If anyone wants to pick one of these up, check out the VENDOR SECTION as EXACT MOTORSPORTS is the exclusive seller of these pieces. PM me with questions as I designed it![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm sure most of you know who this car belongs to so without further delay:

Looks good Colleen
. It does flow real good. The close up pictures do not do it justice, as these are supposed to be quite subtle. I'm sure they look real good like the ones on the ISF. It works real well with the 09+ rear bumpers because of that little matte black slit on the rear bumper.

Ordered mine . Hope to have it on by early next week. Will post pics.
Gosh some of you are harsh. If you dont think it looks good. Why even bother posting? As far as flow. Sure it flows. I think the majority of people (this is not an insult in any way) who oppose mods like this seem to have the idea that their IS is a full out luxury vehicle. Maybe. If you came from a ford festiva. But in the grand scheme of luxury vehicles this is surely not one of them. Yes it would look horrible on an LS and I think it would even crappy on any newer ES/GS.
I , personally see the IS as a luxury-sports car (which it is) that, depending on your tastes, can be modified either in a clean, VIP way thus making it more luxurious with the goal of getting it close to a true luxury car. But it would make more sense to me to buy another model rather than modding for luxury. Or it can be modified in a "ricey" (if you want to put it in a bad way) way to make it more sporty, cool, or whatever. I think this is the perfect car to modify in that way because of it's slightly luxurious nature it makes it a classy-ricey.
I, actually, find it kind of amusing that some people consider this car so luxurious and are so opposed to many mods. It's only luxury because it has high tech gadgets and has the lexus name, which is associated with luxury. It's not comfy like a true luxury car. It's not nearly as spacious. A true luxury car should have more room in the backseat than in the front, and the IS certainly doesnt handle or ride like a true luxury car should. Modding to the sportier side of this car's versatility makes more sense IMO.
Sorry for ranting .
The diffuser looks, at worst, just fine... and for those of us who dont really care about rear lips it's a nice subtle mod on the backside. The retail price, IMO, is a little steep considering that it's just a piece of plastic, but there's no competition so...alas. If it were $150. I'd have not one hesitation. For it's retail price...I had to think on it and if i currently didnt have a little extra to blow I probably would have passed due to it being such an expensive piece of plastic despite liking and wanting it. It's in the same mod league as a rear roof spoiler, I think. If only mine hadnt been ripped off...ugh
