Sad to see it go...
I purchased a 2010 IS 250C almost 1 year ago. Beautiful car. Red with Black interior but after a few months, the roof had excessive rattles. To make a long story short, I've taken the vehicle back to Lexus 5 times to get the roof fixed. They couldn't fix it. Still rattles.
Today I turned in the car back to Lexus for a full refund (minus some mileage for usage). Enjoyed driving the car during the time I had it but the rattles were not going away.
My wife has an RX400h which we've had for 3 years and it's been great. Toyota has lots of work to do to correct their problems with many different lines of vehicles they produce and hopefully they will become stronger and get the public confidence back soon.
Now, on to my next vehicle.

sorry to hear that you returned your vert, but what did you expect from a CONVERTIBLE?
my vert does not make a peep on nicely paved roads but once i hit a street filled with potholes and what not, thats when I hear all the rattles. i live with it.

They were more than just "run-of-the-mill" rattles. Basic rattles happen in every convertible. For arguments sake, let's say normal rattling was a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. These were around a 7. Since you wern't there you don't know.
Do you know what a hassle it was to take the car back constantly to the dealer? Paying close to $50k for a car and the dealer couldn't fix it, with many conversations with engineers from Japan. It wasn't a decision made lightly.

Paying $50+k and having to take the car to the dealership multiple times to remedy the issue is deff a pain. I guess i just take it for what it is and deal with it. ive never had a vert before so im happy.

I did test drive the IS350C and WOW! What a difference in power between the two cars. I think I'll be happy with the G37 but will miss the Lexus!

I'm sure since it will titled as a "LEMON", the price will be very attractive!
