anything I should ask them to check or do before it runs out?

I have until Sept and ~9K miles.

I've had the dashboard padded like 5 freakin times due to rattle and it seems ok now although I still hear it sometimes. Other than that the car hasn't had any issues.

When a warranty nears the end, I always complain about the ac and transmission.....just to get the complaint on record.

Check the TSBs for the car and see if you notice any of them on yours (eg engine rattle when cold) ask them to check these out before it goes out of warranty and make sure it's documented. Then, if anything goes bad for the first year or so out of warranty, it should be covered as you have a record of it while you were in warranty.
