Took the IS in for noise in the back
I took the car for a drive with the Service associate, and we both heard the noise. By the time the car got to the technician, he coudn't hear it. So now they are keeping it for another day. It's a creaking noise. think it's either from the speaker or sun shade? They gave me a loaded RX300. That thing drives smooth. The IS is a bumpy ride compared to the rest of the lexus line. Think i am going to look at the GS350 next. They said the GS-F will be around $75k, yikes

I actually had the same issue. They said that the clips between the headliner and rear windshield came loose somehow. Mine only occurred when it was warm 75+ F.
Is that the same as you guys?
I complained about it a few times, but my guy at Longo Lexus took care of me after I took a ride with him after hearing the noise.

How on earth can they be so accurate about the price of a GS-F when such a car hasn't even been confirmed yet? Or has it?
Last I heard, all talks about a GS-F were pure speculation, substantiated only by a few quotes from Lexus insiders where it was certainly clear that talks of a GS-F were on the table.
The only thing stated was that if the LF-A V10 were used, the engine alone would contribute $60k to the price of a GS-F, making a $75K price tag unreasonable.

The RX has 16,000 miles on it. I'm not sure about the GS-F. That creaking noise happens only when it's warm outside. I think we all have the same issue, will keep you guys up to date.

Thanks for the info. I have the same issue, only when outside temperature is warm and park the car in the sun. I'll have to give the dealer this info, hopefully they can fix it.

Hey guys, just got the car back after 2 days..... the tech REMOVED BOTH REAR LOCATING TABS FOR REAR WINDOW. NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS? I GUESS I DON'T NEED THOSE TABS?

I took my IS250C in for roof rattles 5 times. The last time they had the car, they had it 8 days and even had a tech ride in the trunk to see if they could isolate the major rattling. They couldn't.
Got pissed off, found a lawyer and to make a long story short, Toyota just purchased my IS250C back last week!
That takes care of the rattles!

last summer on my 2006 gs300 i owned i had rattling in the rear also only when the temp was above 70. i think they said some pins were loose in the rear windshield. they tighten those pins and i never heard anything again.
