Default Sport Pedals discontinued...for now

Some of you may already know this, but Lexus Dealerships aren't allowed to sell the sport pedals anymore due to the pedal recall. I'm pretty sure Nigel is the only vendor for these now, Sewell canceled my order today because of this.

They will probably release recall friendly pedals in the future, but until then...
If you need the pedals, hit up Nigel!

Oh man... it seems like Lexus is discontinuing everything nowadays.

Sewell even discontinued the all-weather floor mats.

Thanks for the heads up.

That's a bummer. I took my '07 X-package in for an oil change a few weeks ago, and they replaced the accelerator pedal. It's still a sport pedal, just a little bit smaller than the original. So they do make a recall friendly version. I wonder if they're holding on to them to make sure they have enough for the recall. I'm sure they will be available at some point in the future, though.

Get a weathertech floor liner. Completely protect your floor! Recommended!

The revised pedals aren't available to purchase. Those with Sport Pedals that got the recall done got the revised sport pedals.

I think that's one of the best investments you can get for your beloved IS. Sadly, not a many people know Weathertech. They're pricey as well.
