Im also looking forward to the DIY. I can imagine a good bit of sanding followed by a good bit of polish. The lips came out great!

I dont either. But i only say this because it hasnt happened. I'm sure were all pretty careful with our after market and even our stockers, but it happens. I always get CLOSE to curbing when i'm trying to park next to curbs in parking spots to keep maximum distance from my car to another.

Not sure about you guys, but curbing is so hard to avoid. I live in SF where most of the parking requires you to parallel it. Spaces here are tight and if you pass it up, it would be gone after you circle the block. It is true I can always park farther away, but I get sick of it if I have to park 3-4 blocks away every time I go somewhere.

In any case, I have been parking pretty far lately just because I had all my lips refinished not too long ago.
