Default anyway to smooth out foglights lens??

im gonna put yellow overlays on my fogs but the foglights are kinda pitted and have scratches ectt. i wanna be able to lay the overlays on smooth ...can i wet sand it buff it? or use the headlight restoration kit?

wet sand then use plastx....

imo, dont put on overlays just change the bulb, it will give you a cleaner look...

what he said. try as fine as grit you can get. least aggressive first. then plast-x

most of the pits will come off at 2000 Grit... can be found anywhere... Lowe's home depot...

if its really really really bad, LIGHTLY HAND sand w/ 500. would not go any rougher than that, then make your way up to 1000k, then 1500, then 2000 then plastix

where do they sell this plastix? and what is it ? some kind of rubbing compound? i have 6000k hid fogs and v-led 68 drl and 6000k d4s..im just changing it up and going for a different look for now

its made by meguiars. its the same thing that comes in the headlight restoration kit.
