Default Another HID and Lighting qusetion.

Hi everyone, I've tried searching but obvious my brain is too small to understand the differences. Installing HIDs in Canada are too expensive so I'm going to follow the DYI guide and save money. Anyways, not trying write an essay here, I want to install HIDs on my non HID Lexus.

I've heard good reviews about the Garax Low Beam 6000k bulbs

I now need a kit (Ballast + Wiring + Harness) where can I find a high quality one?

I also want my LED parking lights to match with the 6000k Garax Bulbs.

If you guys can help me out, I would really appreciate it ! Thanks in advance.

Forgot to Add: Does it matter if the Ballast is Slim or Normal size?

poorkidlol,

Make sure to type in "CL" as the coupon code if you decide to go with the Volt kit to get a $25 discount.

As for the parking lights, a lot of ClubLexus members are using our 194 LED bulb (360 degree) bulbs.

ClubLexus members get a 15% discount on our LED lighting as well. All you need to do is type in CLLED as the coupon code.

Thanks XenonDepot

HID Low Beam 6000K = H11 6000k Volt Digital+ Xenon HID Conversion Kit
HID Fog Lights 6000k = 9006 6000k Volt Digital+ Xenon HID Conversion Kit
Parking Lights LED = 194 LED Bulb

This will make all my lights 6000k and will match 100% ?

FOR DRL I want Halogen instead of LED, what's my solution to match with the 6000k HIDS?

No matter what halogen bulb you use for a DRL, it will look yellow because it is the high beam bulb at 30% power.

I've seen people buy yellow high beams for the JDM look, but I have never seen someone successfully use a halogen bulb to match 6000K HIDs. I'm convinced it's impossible. If you want a match to your 6000K HIDs, get an LED DRL kit from V-LEDs or something.

poorkidlol,

I would not suggest going with LED bulbs in your DRL as they will offer you pretty much no light output. Some of our customers go with a performance halogen bulb (sometimes blue coated) to try and get a crisper output. However, You will never get a perfect match as one bulb is HID and one bulb is halogen.
