I was trying to search a thread on how to remove exhaust tips then I found this thread,

But the Sewell link in thread doesn't show the manual anymore.

Can anybody tell me how to remove them? I tried just pulling them earlier but no good. I didn't want to break anything.

I had a hell of time trying to remove mine and felt I was going to rip out the whole exhaust. I had to get a freaking flathead and wedge it between the tip's clip and the exhaust. Then just pull and twist back and forth until it comes off.

 

Move the tips from side to side a couple times. Then keep doing it, but pull at the same time. Should come out no problem. I pulled off both sides with my bare hands.

 

I just tried both I had no luck. I heard cracking sound if I force it. Any better idea?

 

Actually, I was able to remove them. Finally!

I sprayed a little bit of WD40 and I could twist them back and forth and jackpot.
