quick question. I've had my rims on for about half of year. I've noticed some slight chipping to them. Anyone know where the cause is coming from? Could it be the rocks chipping it while I'm driving?
Pics attached below. could it be how the rims are constructed? they are are volks re30.

could be a couple of things, potholes or when you turn off a road into a driveway *that small bump curb part* you cut the angle too sharply rather than a making a wider turn-in.

no, just make wider turns into driveways, when you know you gotta turn 'right' into one just pull more to the left before you make your turn in and make your front wheels straight or as straight as you can as you hit that bump up.

I tend to take alternate routes in order to avoid those huge sidewalks that stick up an inch or so for that reason. And I'm unable to drive straight without mashing my bumper on those steep ones. I don't remember Hawaii being too bad when I use to live there, but Cali, seems like every freaking lot is like that. I usually park on the street and walk lol.
