dude, you'll cause more than $50 of damage on your car, don't be cheap and don't be stupid. I see dumbasses doing this crap all the time and it's dangerous to other people on the road.

Yes, a few years ago a mattress on a freeway in San Jose caused a fatal crash.

A few years ago a car in front of me on the highway had a mattress on the roof which flew off despite them trying to tie it down with ropes. The thing flew up about 15 ft before landing. Was lucky it didn't hit anybody.

Exclamation

Seriously.... Pay the $50 for the delivery...

The risk for damage to your IS or other cars and/or people is severely out weighed!!!!

This is a NO BRAINER...

alright, i got the message lol

I'll look for a van since the seller doesn't offer delivery. If I do do it, I'll take pics. I drove a loveseat in my old ITR halfway across Toronto once with no problems but I guess this is taking it to another level.

I don't know about up there, but down here in Florida, Home Depots have trucks they rent out for something like $20 for the first 20-30 minutes. It's not a matter of being cheap, it's more a safety thing. You could potentially be putting others at risk, just to save a few bucks.
