Nav system issue
I bought my 2006 IS250 last July. I haven't had any issues with it, until last Thursday. My nav system says my car is about an hour or so away from where I'm really at. I've looked at the settings and don't see anything to where I could "calibrate" it or reset it. Any suggestions as to what is wrong or how I can fix it?

What firmware version is it running? There was an update available for the nav to correct this problem in 2006. If you update the nav DVD to current version, you'll correct this issue. It's unfortunately unlikely you'll be able to do this under the original TSIB. It's been quite awhile since it was issued.

How would I know what firmware version it is? Where would I look to find that out? I'm pretty new to this stuff. I've had my Lexus almost a year, but haven't had to dig into it. Thanks for the help.

Ask the dealer if TSB EL013-06 has been done to your car. If it has, you have some other issue they need to fix. If it has not, they need to do it, or you need to purchase an updated nav disc and install it.
