Default Are OEM wheels powder coated? (repair question)

I got an estimate on wheel repair and I was told the lip needs to be heated and bent straight again, and powder coat to match factory finish.

I am thought the factory wheel isn't a powdercoat finish? but a paint + clear finish.
but I could have the wheel repaired in 24 hours, so maybe they really do PC it and I don't have to wait for anything to dry..

Can a PC finish match the rest of the wheels?

Cost to fix that wheel is $185, well if that was powdercoating maybe I should give them all my wheels and PC them a nicer color than the factory 2007 silver.

Would you let them repair that one wheel with PC finish?
Seems like a crazy thing to do.

No. I'd do an all or nothing approach where nothing = paint and clearcoat again.

For that price I would put up a WTB IS wheel in the classifieds. It might save the problems.

i wouldn't bother repairing it and save the money to go aftermarket and keep the stock as spares.

I got a much better price estimate going to SoCal powdercoat all 4 for a little bit more.

How much would aftermarket run? $1600-$2000?
alot more than recoating my wheels..

I don't want to lower the car so want to stay with 18s also..

Buy one replacement rim (online or used) and save yourself some money.

Do yourself a favor and replace the wheels. The OEM wheels are very fragile. I bent and cracked both front wheels in less then one year. I replaced them and have not any other problems since (almost 2 years now).
