DIY: Turn Ventilated seats into A/C Seats - EASY
#62
F the pics, just go outside and look at your car people!!! I'm flying home tonight and I'll def check this out by the end of the week. And F the people in the back too, they don't need cold air on their feet. They already have the air that comes out of the center vents. And this mod can easily be reversed in the winter so back seaters can have hot air on their feet.

Wow, this is night and day difference, my seats are FROZEN..
I do have a better solution than just cardboard... I was looking around my basement and found the perfect size aluminum top to those cheap aluminum pans at the store..
you know these?
It slips nicely right under the floor vent and allows you to "mold" it up to the fan intake on the seat..
I just tried it out for 5 mins and my seat was FROZEN!!! Thank you SO MUCH for posting this thread!!

All blue does is recirculate cabin air... which has already warmed up. What we've done is direct really cold air into the seat fan.. it's freakin awesome! On a side note, I wonder how it'll work with heated air... maybe it'll work even better than the regular seat heaters.

The stock vented seats are useless, unless you do this mod. What's wrong with Lexus? They should have done this to begin with. Somebody patent this idea and sell it to Lexus.
