Hi - Saturday for no apparent reason the engine warning light, traction control warning light and VSC warning light all lit up on my dash? Any suggestions? The irony is that I was on my way to get the emissions tested so I can renew the cars registration by July 12th. ![Crying](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/Peace.gif)
The car failed and the diagnostic codes were:
P0441 - Evap Emissioin Control Sys Incorrect Purge Flow
P0445 - Evap Emission Control Sys Leak Detected (gross 1)
The car only has 17,500 miles and I am hoping this will be covered under warranty?
Thank you

Yes - the gas cap was tightened. How about the VSC, traction control and engine light? I am not sure why they all lit up at once and have remained on.

The TRAC and VSC lights will always come on when the MIL (check engine light) comes on...the ECU automatically shuts down the traction control and vehicle skid control when the engine light comes on to prevent and complications with those systems...the TRAC and VSC lights are on telling you they are turned off

I had this same problem in my '06 IS350 several months back and took it in to the dealer. They said that the issue was due to an electrical short in a tail-light harness. They replaced the harness and associated wiring under warranty and I have not had the problem since. I didn't get much more info from them than that, but since i haven't had a problem again, I didn't worry about it too much. Hope this helps and good luck!
