Things that annoy you about your car

I know what I bought into. I am more of a sports car guy than luxury car enthusiast. My main complaint is steering and transmission. Too light and too slow. However I bought a Lexus after BMW for reliability so as a DD I enjoy this car.

The NAV system is utter trash and dramatically outperformed by the free google app on my blackberry. Thank goodness I bought this used, so the price of it was already pretty much amortized out. Lexus should really just be embarrassed at how poorly done this system is. And that's not even taking into account the NAV nanny "features".
The best comment I've ever heard about the Lexus NAV system. "The screen is a great place for the suction cup on my Garmin".

That's just classic right there.
I can't comment on whether the 2IS nav does or doesn't suck since I opted out, but I'm a big fan of the Garmin. I'm actually on my third one now (my first was the behemoth StreetPilot III). They are fantastic units and cheap! A lot of bang for the buck. I don't need to navigate as a part of my daily routine, because I'm not driving in unfamiliar areas every day. When I do need it, I can easily grab it out of the glove box and snap it on the mount without stopping what I'm doing (like driving..although admittedly I should).
I just think the built-in nav's are way overpriced when all you need is a system to get you from point A to B, the displays and features on the Garmin are great, and at a fraction of the cost not only for the units but for data updates.

"Most" people who get a 250, are not really enthusiasts. When I bought my 2010 earlier this year, I though that I was gonna be priced out of a 350 and the dealer tried to lean me towards a 250. But to be honest, if I couldn't have achieved the 350... there would NOT be a lexus in my garage right now. Pure and simple. You take that powerful engine out, and take away the exclusivity of the lack of 350's on the road, you don't really have anything to show.
If I ever wanted a Mustang (for example, I never would) If I couldn't get at least a GT or a Cobra, how could I ever be satisfied with their V6 offering? (I realize the new ones have 300+ HP) I would just duck down in the seat and not let anyone see me driving! Lol! "Hi, I'm the guy who couldn't afford the "real" mustang!" "But I'm gonna drive around like I'm part of the club!"
Sorry to stir the pot, but it's just the way I feel.

I drive a 250AWD. Coming from the 335i, it is slow. I got outgunned by a 1999 accord v-6 the other day. That sucks.
But if you want AWD, which I did, and you want a reliable car, which I did, then you have no choice but the IS250AWD. I suspect that factor alone is a reason why you don't see more 350s. I live in Utah, and I see a ton of 250AWD, I see virtually no plain 250s.
