Smile Anyone have PDF for IS250 Engine Rattling/Cranking Startup

I am experiencing the brief engine cranking/startup noise in my 2006 IS250 AWD. Does anyone have the .pdf that I could show the dealer? All I could find was the '06-'07 IS350 TSB, not the IS250 TSB. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate it.

Weird I just started noticing rattle noise when in cold start but mine is 08 IS350. Not sure if it's the same issue. I'd like to know if TSIB applies to mine as well.

I'd appreciate this info as well. I am taking my car in tomorrow for the cold start up noise and i want to show them some kind of a document (TSIB).

Thanks

I had the same problem on my 08 IS250. I got it fixed at the dealership without showing any documents. Your dealer should do it even though you have no doc for it. I don't have the link, but there are some thread for the problem.

Thanks a lot guys. Knowing how they dealers are, what should I do if they try to stick in their $200 "diagnostics fee"?

no need to pay "inspection fee". They should be aware of the problem.

I've read the other thread before but I didn't think it would happen to me.

I just started experiencing this on my 07 AWD a few days ago.

I dropped off my car with 68K miles yesterday. I picked it up today and of course they could not duplicate it. At least it's' documented now.

I took mine to the dealer last week, it had been making the noise for a couple weeks... the guy at the service department said it was the cam gears, so they ordered me up some new ones and had them in within a couple days... also had them replace all 4 wheels (pitting) and had them do the pedal recall, didn't have to pay a dime and they didnt give me any kind of hassle. The guys said with the cam gear replacement they we're obligated to give me a free full tank of gas (good thing for me I dropped the car off with a little under a 1/4 tank haha) not sure if they are actually obligated to do so but it was def. a nice perk! Anyways... after they changed the cam gears, the noise is completely gone, only took a day to do all the work!
