Default Grinding noise when turning (after upgrading to IS350 brakes)

Yesterday, I installed is350 bbk on my is250. Today, while I was driving, I noticed a loud metal grinding noise when making wide turns (left and right). My installer didn't install the dust shield.. Could this be the problem?

Thanks for your help

its the 250 dust shields...mine did that every morning until it spent the $45 for new dustshields.

I ordered mine from Lexus of Pembroke Pines Trademotion site online. The MSRP is like $34 each.

No offense but your mechanic is an idiot.

each front. It is almost impossible to change the rear ones.

I have the OEM brake pads, but have noticed a very quiet grinding when coming to a full stop very slowly, and the grind gets a bit worse when I turn and brake.

I figured it may be the brake pad but I had the pads checked about 1 month ago and he said there was still about 80% of the pad still left. I'm now thinking it may be the dust shields, as I guess they need to be replaced every so often? My car has almost 70k miles on it.

Are the shields hard to get to? Is there a DIY to change em?
