Grinding noise when turning (after upgrading to IS350 brakes)
Yesterday, I installed is350 bbk on my is250. Today, while I was driving, I noticed a loud metal grinding noise when making wide turns (left and right). My installer didn't install the dust shield.. Could this be the problem?
Thanks for your help

I have similar problem too. I put f-sport bbk both front and rear and lots, lots and very heavy grinding noise came from front.)
my mechanic told me it's gonna happen a few days after installed by it've been a few day.

I have the OEM brake pads, but have noticed a very quiet grinding when coming to a full stop very slowly, and the grind gets a bit worse when I turn and brake.
I figured it may be the brake pad but I had the pads checked about 1 month ago and he said there was still about 80% of the pad still left. I'm now thinking it may be the dust shields, as I guess they need to be replaced every so often? My car has almost 70k miles on it.
Are the shields hard to get to? Is there a DIY to change em?
