Just visit ijdmtoys and see their explanation about those.

However could someone clarify for a newbie...

This is the link for both DRL and FOG lights?
No. Your DRLs/high beams are 9005, your fogs are 9006.

isnt this what we need?

Question: If I buy the above kit.... I lose high beams right?
Yes, you effectively lose your high beams, but because your lows are bi-xenon you will still get decent output. I prefer this kit for LED DRL's, it has better light dispersion: http://www.v-leds.com/Vehicle-Specif...-p9167453.html

I agree. I got the kit and it works well. no flicker and no random outs. You do lose high beams, but HID still helps

I got my led through amazon. Search putco wedge. And you are good to go. Buy nice or buy twice.

fr0st: maybe this link will help explain the drilling of the headlight covers to run the harness
http://vleds.wordpress.com/2010/11/0...-is-drl-guide/

also V-LEDS have a new DRL Kit that doesn't use the harness but two DRL Module instead that fit inside the headlight covers; no drilling required. It also comes with two matching parking bulbs

update: I notice that I replied but member must have deleted his post :\

^ Just a heads up, the older style of VLED's LED DRL (http://www.v-leds.com/Vehicle-Specif...-p9167453.html) does a better job at filling the headlight housing with light, but the new one looks good too. Both have excellent build quality.

Thanks brociouz. I feel better because I just installed the older style when V-LEDS released the new version.

I would still like to see side-by-side comparison pictures and why is the older style still cost more?

How is the above rated by CL members? Apparently the module fits inside the cover.

^ I've seen a side-by-side comparison in person. Unfortunately, the pics from my P&S didn't come out well. Because the older style has more individual LEDs firing, it scatters the light better.

The new ones are out of stock. So I've already placed my order for the aforementioned link. Will post pics once installed. I like the fact that it's a plug and play that doesnt require drilling or relay harness.

Sure, but i'm expecting at least 1 week for delivery. if anyone else has a pic right now, post it to speed up Jmag's modification and spending $$$ process.

Jmags, If you decide to buy soon, then use this coupon code "NYRES11" I think it's 15% discount.
