VIP status rims.. what do you guys think?
hey guys, i've only just started modding my 09 IS250 AWD in starfire pearl.
i've recently changed to HID's and blacked out my headlight housing. I'm planning to get rims and lowering springs (not coilovers cause im on a tight budget) next and i came across these. I don't really know if I like them or not, as weird as it may sound. I really have mixed feelings about them, sometimes when i look at them, i like them, and sometimes i dont. So i want your opinions and maybe some suggestions as to what I should get. My budget is around 2-2.5k including tires (falken 452's) so rims of this grade is all i can afford. The Linea Corse LC818 is within my budget but since im not local (im in Canada), if i run into any problems with the rims, it'll probably take a long time to deal with.. whereas the store for the VIP status rims is local. Suggestions are encouraged. Thanks!

yeah, that is well said. i've nvr really thought about it that way.
I just wanted opinion haha!
but either way, how do you guys think they look?
i've never seen them on a car in person.
It's about $500 difference from the LC818.

how much can I lower from stock (the AWD) without making LC818 rub cause they look pretty flush.. i dont really want to shave or roll fender.. unless I dont have a choice. I'm planning to get H&R springs for the AWD.

why dont use just use your 2.5 k and get some BC R AWD Coilovers, Your car would look a hell of a lot better tucked on stock rims then those fakes..just my .002. This way when your ready say 3-9 months from now, you can buy a decent set of rims and have a nice looking car as well

thanks for the suggestion Josh, thats a good idea, but I'm still a uni student and I don't work. I only have a set amount of money to work with on the car, so its not like i can save up for a few months and get nice rims. Since its not a performance car and i dont plan to track with it, i dont see a point in getting coils for the sole purpose of making it nicer when i can just use springs. I'm just trying to make it look nicer thats all. I didn't know they were fakes/replicas when i posted this thread. I'm leaning towards the LC818's now. just wondering if i can use AWD H&R springs without rubbing. its gunna be 235.35.19 front and 275.30.19 rear. Thanks
