Yup..just relocate that screw..and cut off the rest of that tab you dont need. Chewed up my old tires..All good now..

yes, i think pics would clear up all misunderstandings
point out exactly where the fender and tabs needs working.

i just cut that tab off completely. so far so good. i believe chrIS30 recommended it and i took his advice. no regrets here. Plus i felt like a total bad *** with a dremel, sparks flying everywhere, and saying **** this tab while my bro looked on in horror.

So after i fixed the tab.. i thought all was good...... until this happened:
