It's much harder and more aggravating to try to mount that ballast without removing the bumper. Just cause its PNP doesn't mean it's super quick to install. By the time you pull back that liner and try to find a place to mount the ballast, I'd be done taking off the bumper and doing one side LOL

I swear to god I did both in under 20 mins from start to finish. It was so easy I was shocked. I mounted both ballasts very easy

I'll agree that taking the bumper off is the way to go and next time for any mods I'm gonna do it. For a complete newbie, I was too nervous to do it, especially the pain I heard about lining up everything properly when putting it back on. I'm happy with my result and I got the ballasts mounted properly.

Yeah, I could totally believe that, especially since it's your first time doing it. This seems to be a common theme among all my DIY jobs, but like the others said, you have the satisfaction of saying you did the job yourself.

looks like his camera is off. i have 6500k and they don't even look that blue in person.
