Hahaha, I was thinking of doing the EXACT same thing to my car, right down to painting them blue. I even PM'ed montgb a few days ago asking about it. Can't wait to see it installed.

LOL - Hella owes me a commission check or something.

Can't wait to see the results, guys! I re-painted mine gloss black for a more stealth look. The old ladies who cut me off don't even see it coming...

Do you have any pictures of how the horns are wired to your battery?

My horns aren't wired to my battery yet. But I'm planning to do that soon.

Depends on how complicated you want to get. It's very simple to remove the stock horns and connect the Hellas - you'll need a couple electrical items (clips, wire) from an auto store, but that's all. If you want the full effect of the horns, you'll need to run power from your battery. And if you don't like the "staggered" positioning of the horns, you'll need to do some customization.

Hey guys! The time has come. I recently installed the hella supertones yesterday with great help by Tommy at Musicbox.

1. Popped open the hood, removed the front panel to get to the horns.
2. Unscrewed the horns easily, and replaced it with the supertones.
3. Positioning was way off at its stock position since our horns already have an uneven look.
4. Removed my front grille, resprayed the mesh grille due to rock chips to get the solid black color.
5. Removed the front L emblem.
6. Rewired, grounded the supertones and did some minor bending of the metal in order to position the supertones at its best place.
7. The supertones are not 100% even when it comes to measurements, but looking from a good 5-10 feet away, the position of it looks decent enough to call it even.
8. I was never able to install the accelerator pedal for my aluminum sports pedal, and finally got help from Tommy. (very tough job for something so little).

As you can see, the stock horns are misaligned, and sorry for the bad pic quality.
