Getting the IS250
I m looking to get an 10' Is250 with navi because the new job requires a longer drive and the RX350 seem to suck up too much gas. I m wondering whats the price you guys got the IS for?? I contact the nearby dealers and the best offer i got is around 36k. Is it possible to go as low as 32K otd?

Given how aggressive drivers are in california, it may behoove you to consider the IS350 instead of the IS250 for approximately $4k more.
However, if gas mileage is one of your primary concerns, it would first be helpful to know what sort of mileage you're getting on your RX350, what your daily commute is like (i.e. X% highway, Y% city, lots of stop and go traffic, etc.), and what sort of mileage you would deem acceptable for a new ISx50.

Well if you live in Los Angeles area, you won't be going anywhere fast. Being aggressive in rush hour traffic makes the driver look like a idiot. I see a lot of car trying to go faster cutting off other cars and changing lanes like a demon only to be slow down again by the billions of cars in front.

There was a thread where everyone posted their "deals," it used to be a sticky I thought.
I dunno about 32K OTD with nav that seems unlikely. I believe that is under invoice before tax/title. My 07 without nav was 33K OTD.

It will take years to amortize the cost of trading the RX for new ISx50 via gas savings.
But if you plan to keep the RX and buy a ISx50, consider getting a CPO IS350 with low mileage.

I've always wanted the IS, but for family usage, i have to get the RX. But now i just got a great reason to get the IS. I know the mileage i m getting from the IS will be way better from the RX, but what is the avg price u guys paid for the IS?

For example, assuming 3 bucks a gallon, if your commute has you driving 75 miles per day roundtrip, and let's say the RX gets average 21MPG (probably gets better than that) and the IS250 gets average 29MPG (usually not that good), the total savings would be about $68 per month in gas. Over two years that's a little over $1,600, and the total cost of trading a RX for an IS is likely to be quite a bit more than that.
Not to discourage you from the IS, I love this car. I'm actually driving an RX hybrid loaner today and I really miss my IS. Just wanted to level-set expectations around actual cost savings.

oh I m keeping the RX, just got it for like 4 months and loving the ride. I m just getting the IS for weekdays and could probably use the RX on the weekends. I m getting around 21mpg for the RX and i had the IS loaner last week and i did 26, and thats wht made me to consider getting another car. And the reason i m not considering other brands is because my wife already has a 328i, so i want the IS without a second thought hahaaa

When money is not in the way, three vehicles are better than two when you've got space to park them all, but if money's not an object and you really like the RX (and would prefer to pay property tax, insurance, maintenence etc for only 2 vehicles), you might take a look at the RX hybrid. I'm driving one right now and I really think the MPG is a little better than my IS 250.
