Welcome to CL! Crazy story, but glad it all worked out. I had work done myself at Car West Auto Body - they're good, as you know.

Re: audio, like Kurtz says, it's probably not worth doing an ML swap. I suggest just leaving the cabin speakers as is, but add a JL 12w6v2 powered by a 500/1 or HD750 with a 4080 enclosure for the stealth look. Or you could go ***** out with a custom system. Looks like you could probably afford it.

I'll probably just go with another W3 or maybe a W6. I have a custom-guy who builds all my enclosures for me (Did my last $15k set-up) so I am going to have him take a look at it this weekend.

These wheels were decided on before I chose the color of my car. They are one of thes sickest OEM wheels I have ever seen. (NOTE--I'm not really a wheel guy, either)

Bought a JL W3 12" and an Alpine PDXM6. I am leaving for a 23-day business trip to Alaska on Tuesday so I won't have time to get anything installed until I return home. I also have to pick my 355 up on Sept 2 in Seattle--she is being feisty about her long-term fuel trim running a tad lean.

Anywho, doing a custom fiberglass enclosure on the left side of the trunk for the sub and probably just gonna mount the PDX amp on the rear seat.

It's essentially the same set-up I added to my BMW HK factory set-up except a little more power and a 12 versus a 10.

I'll post some pics after I get it done next month.
