Default Drilling Front Bumper.

I'd like to drill two holes on my front bumper to install the front license plate bracket.
Was wonder what drill bit or how I should drill so the holes look nice and clean like the ones for the rear?

Man, you're pretty ballsy for wanting to drill yourself. I would personally take it to the dealer for this.

its not really all that hard. make sure you put tape on the spot you are going to drill to help prevent cracking. drill using a small pilot hole first thru the tape and the bumper. then progressivily work your way up to a bit that is slightly small then what you intend to use.

Or you can buy those non drill license plate frames.

use a punch if you DIY, then drill small and work your way up to the correct size.

I'd gladly trade you if you were local and had a silver bumper. I wish mine was never drilled LOL.

Just get the locations centered and level, use a punch for a starting point, then drill a small pilot hole.

I'm trying to do the exact opposite.
looking for a shop to get my holes filled in lol.

+1 for leave it.
Or like others have mentioned, place the license plate anywhere but the bumper.
(i.e. grill, tow hook, etc)

Either don't do it or take it to the dealer.

I drilled mine since I don't trust the dealer with installing with my clear bra on.

Basically, start with the smallest bit and work your way up. You shouldn't have to worry about cracking if you have factory bumper since they are poly-urathane. If it's fiber-glass then start to worry.

It sucks to live in CA where it's required by law to have front & back. If I had a choice, then I would have the holes filled in.
