Default Garax D4S bulbs

Just received my Garax 6000k D4S bulb and noticed that the bulb itself has writing that says D4S and on the Garax packaging, there is a golden sticker that says D4C.

Whoever has Garax D4S bulbs can you tell me if this is the case with your bulbs?

Thanks

Please post with your experience with the new bulbs compared to OEM. I am thinking about Garax as well but afraid it does not produce enough light. I am looking for 5000K but it is hard to find quality bulbs < $100.

yah yur fine.

as for loss of light production. u have to be really particular to notice the loss of light when going from stock to 6000k. there is a difference, but its minimal. you should be fine. garax produces good quality bulbs

Yeah, I have a set of these bulbs in my IS and have been very happy with them all summer. I'd make the purchase again in a heartbeat.

Anyone know if there are knock-off's of Garax on the market? I was looking for D2S and found some really cheap ones with lesser warranty etc offered by iJdmtoys. I presume ones sold by our sponsor is of the best quality and warranty.

How much cheaper? If I recall correctly, I bought my D4S Garax bulbs off iJDMToys on eBay for ~$90ish - they're legit.

+1 on Garax 6K...I tried 5K from VLEDS and HIDExtra and wasn't happy with the purpleish tint...Garax 6K way better white with a hit of blue goes perfect with my 5K fogs.

is the bulbs you recieved has the metal on the bottom to hold the bulbs like OEM one? because I see the one on ebay has that, and the one from CLT vendor post didn't have that, and I was order the one from that CLT vendor, and hope that has the metal one to hold the bulb? can anyone conform that for me? thanks

snapped a couple of pics of garax's fine D4S offering.

packaging -

one bulb, right out of the box -

one bulb, uncapped and bare -

up close shot of the metal clips that hold the glass bulb in the base -

silk-screening on the bulb base -

a few notes:
- yes, the box does say D4C, but they will fit the 2is D4S housing.
- the only other bulbs i've seen that have the metal clips on the bulb base is the oem bulb. while i can't be 100% sure that this metal clip on the bulb is a sign of high quality, again, it is on the oem bulb, so take that for what it's worth.
- this is a spare (albeit unused) set i picked up from mistuhdan, and comparing these bulbs to the set i bought from an authorized CL vendor (carlighttrends.com) and are currently in my 2is, they are exactly the same. just in case anyone wants to know...

hope this clears up a lot of confusion regarding garax D4S bulbs.
