Just ordered a tilt and shock sensor to integrate into my factory alarm system, but I've got two questions for you all.
Where is the alarm brain located in the vehicle?
Does anyone have wiring schematics for the alarm brain??
Thanks!

Mines oem. Ask them for the phone number for the people who install MOBILE TRACE on the car. Call Lexus Of Stevens Creek and ask em. Once you get there number, they are the ones you need to ask. There located in SJ aswell i believe.

So I have been doing loads of research on this and pretty much ready to get to the install (once I get my car back from the valve spring recall that is). I found a pretty good write up here: http://www.6thgenmaxima.org/f104/add...y-alarm-18020/
This should work just the same in the IS. Although I wouldn't waste the time running the wire all the way to the trunk latch. Rather just connect it to the hood pin wire somewhere under the dash.
I have ordered all the components, about $80 for shock, tilt, and timer from ebay, and will be doing the install in the next couple weeks.
